Think Hope!
Speaking of public rhetoric and popular culture for worthy causes--this is me at the Women's Basketball Game ("Think Pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness) last Sunday. The team wore pink for all of us who are survivors and as a reminder that there is hope for the future. Dr. Lilly, Survivor since 1999.

Breast Cancer awareness is a subject that really hits home for me. I love when our school, esp. women's sports support these great causes. I think it is very appropriate that the Lady Tigers wore pink on this day because so many people attend/ watch the games making others either question the uniforms (which eventually make the person questioning aware of the situation) or agree that we should still support breast cancer awareness and foundations. As a side note, Race for the Cure is Saturday March 8th. I am running and if anyone is interested I can give you more information or visit the website....http://batonrougekomen.org/
